Will my hair grow back after a bad perm

Will my hair grow back after a bad perm?

When hair is permed, it can seem as if it will never grow back after a bad perm. However, your hair should return to normal after a few months have passed.

You can get a new perm and your hair will grow back to normal. Hair grows back normally, even if you have a bad perm.

The perm is known as a permanent, not permanent. So it does not affect the hair growth stage.

In order to fix your hair, you will need a haircut and nourishments that will help it recover from the bad perm.

I know the bad perm really messed up your hair. You can help your hair recover if it isn’t already, with these three steps:

A BAD PERM IS A REAL NIGHTMARE

And I say this from my own experience.

A few years ago, I got a perm and the result wasn’t what I expected: my hair was weak & brittle.

I was heartbroken at the time because my hair had been lost. I wanted to grow it back.

It’s about time- there was light at the end of the tunnel after all. My hair started to grow back, and I then just trimmed off the damaged parts. Good times!

My hair was damaged after the hair perm so it looked way worse than on some other months, but after some time it got healthier and is now back to normal.

YOUR HAIR WILL GROW BACK AGAIN AFTER A BAD PERM

Assess your damaged hair after a bad perm.

It is a good idea to assess your hair regularly and closely. Only then will you be able to determine what the cause of the damage is.

If you only have the ends damaged or dry, you could do some treatments to keep them in shape. You could cut off some hair if it is not in good condition, or try using a specific nourishing product in order to hydrate them.

Your hair will look a lot shorter but it will also have more volume and not have as many split ends.

If you have damage in the back of your hair, you might want to consider starting a total reconstruction program. You can also cut off your ends gradually at the same time.

Did you know that layered cuts could help you disguise the dry, brittle parts?

If your hair is burnt, dry, or damaged in any other way then you will need to cut it off. That’s the best (or often only) solution for these types of problems.

As I told you earlier, you need to look at your hair yourself.

If your hair has a dry & frizzy texture, not from too much heat from a haircut or style, you might be able to rescue it with a before and after hair care program.

Help it look even prettier!

HAIR RESTORATION PROGRAM AFTER A BAD PERM

If your perm damaged your hair or it has become drab, then use this information to help it recover while still growing.

1) REPAIR AND NOURISH YOUR HAIR WITH APPROPRIATE PRODUCTS

There are many different products for this problem on the market. Some of them come at a rather high cost.

Feeling concerned about saving your hair? Believe it or not, some products can actually help. They might cost money at first, but many of them use organic ingredients that will last you a while.

As a hairstylist, I’ve had the privilege of seeing many clients fix their hair issues with L’Oreal’s line of professional products.

I’ve personally used it in the salon. It’s really amazing, and it works by strengthening damaged hair to repair hair after bad perm.

2) GET REGULAR HAIRCUTS

Have you been considering investing in products, but it feels like an up-hill battle? If so, we encourage you to also invest in yourself by snipping off a few centimeters of your hair.

Visit your stylist and tell them about the process you’re undergoing. Their insight can provide a level of inspiration not found elsewhere.

A haircut can help stimulate hair growth and also disguise any unhealthy hair.

Apart from fixing hair at home, it is also advisable to get professional treatments for your hair. This will not only fix the hair damage but also address dryness.

3) SPACE OUT HAIR WASHES

One excellent practice for with dry & damaged hair is to space out your hair wash days. This helps with your hair’s recovery process and improves it long term.

Remember that washing your hair daily can dry it out. Washing may also irritate the scalp and remove the natural oils that help keep hair moisturized.

4) AVOID EXCESSIVE HEAT

t’s recommended to keep all styling tools away so you can focus on what you’re trying to accomplish with your hair.

Give your hair a break. Continuously manipulation can result in permanent damage of your hair. Instead, give it some time to heal and enjoy the simplicity of healthy, strong strands.

5) DON’T DO WATER SPORTS

If you were swimming or diving into a chlorinated pool, don’t forget it.

Chlorine dries your hair too much. Keep in mind you’re on a growth and repair plan after a bad perm

6) DON’T ACCEPT STRAIGHTENING OR KERATIN TREATMENTS

These treatments make your hair look more beautiful but many of them use chemicals that might damage it even more.

Make sure you read the labels before applying any of these treatments or contact your nearest hairdresser or salon for advice on how to avoid this.

You’re still undergoing a recovery phase. Whatever you do, don’t accept the first solution thrown at you.

YOUR HAIR WILL GROW BACK FASTER THAN YOU THINK

Your hair is at its weakest after a bad perm. It’s important to get over the initial shock and allow your hair time to recover.

Good quality care products can help restore your hair’s natural beauty, but it may take some time for this to happen.

However, don’t forget that it’ll be temporary. Your hair will grow back in no time & your damaged hair will recover with the right care

Now that I’ve recommended this action plan, you can try out these simple steps to help nourish your hair while it grows. Remember that perming will not damage your follicles.

It might sound difficult now, but you’ll soon get used to it, and all will be well.
